Proposal Writing
Innoclimber is offering highly specialized proposal writing services for increasingly competitive funding instruments such as the Horizon Europe EIC Accelerator by the European Commission.
EIC Accelerator applicants can choose between two modalities: grant-only support (0.5 to 2.5 million euros) or support in the form of blended finance (combining grant and equity totaling 17.5 million euros – 2.5 million euros grant and up to 15 million equity.
We can offer a wide range of services: preparation of the written application, preparation of financial and administrative data, budget preparation, the electronic submission of the application in the EC participant portal, and additional re-submissions if required. The extremely competitive EIC Accelerator programme consists of 3 steps:
(1) A short application: A 5-page form summarizing a set of questions on the companies’ innovation, potential market, scale-up potential, broader impact, team capability; a 10-slide pitch deck; and a 3-min video (team motivational video/describing the innovation, etc.)
(2) A full application form: Where we describe the technical excellence of the project and the company value proposition, the users, impact of introducing your innovation on the market, business model, scale-up strategy, funding needs, team description, and the activities to be carried out during the project. The application is limited to a 20/30 pages document prepared on the new EIC artificial intelligence-based IT platform. If the companies manage to succeed at this point, an additional evaluation point is carried out (see 3).
(3) A face-to-face interview with an EC jury: The shortlisted companies are invited to pitch their innovative projects in Brussels – although in exceptional times such as the covid-19 crisis we are living in – video calls might be implemented. Innoclimber services also include extensive preparation for the 10-minute pitch presentations and subsequent 30-minute Q&A’s by the jury members – usually business-oriented profiles.
Post-award project management
Our services extend to administrative and coordination activities with the European Commission to secure delivery on time and project success. We can help you in project communication activities for maximum impact as well.
